BACK TO WORK, BACK TO REALITY

So, today was my first day at work after a long holiday, I felt a bit spaced out and overwhelmed with catching up with everything.

For today’s outfit, I didn’t have time to think too much about my outfit this morning as busy getting everything sorted for work but wanted show my beautiful handmade neck piece. It’s stunning one of my favourite holiday buys. I paired it with a plain white top, so not to distract and a pair of simple black jeans.

Unfortunately, I was so busy I forgot to take a full photo but luckily had the photo above.

For the evening I wanted to wear the same jewelry piece but create an evening look.
So I changed into crop top, it’s a sports bra actually but you would never know, and a simple long semi maxi skirt and platform shoes. I finished the look off with a little make-up refresh.

MY BEAUTIFUL YELLOW LINEN DRESS

When it comes to fashion, the thing I love most is diversity.

Want something effortless for the summer? What better than this beautiful yellow linen dress from the CosmoPolly wardrobe.

The key to this outfit is to wear it with style, elegance, and lots of personality. Well, I suppose that’s the key to wearing any outfit, you have to believe you look amazing for others to believe it.

Italian designer Daniela Gregis uses sculpted tailoring and always premium quality materials. This yellow stripy oversize dress is super comfortable and very different from your average dress.

You can wear it short or long, very innovating and interesting. The belt is made from the same yellow material, you can wear it tight on your waistline or perhaps as a headband for those summer evening near the sea.

It also comes with a matching yellow bag that I believe is for washing the dress, me being me, I decided to wear it with the dress as a normal bag.

My shoes are one of my favourite pairs from Acne studio. They are a clean white and have the most fascinating shaped heel, I just couldn’t resist them.

Not a lot of accessories with this outfit just a small pair of gold Dior earrings and Chanel sunglasses.

The dress is strong enough to be worn alone without any other distractions.

BE BOLD, BE BRIGHT

Be bold, be bright. Never be afraid to make a big statement with a bright, bold colour. Yesterday I chose to do exactly that. I’m sure you have all read my previous travel post ‘SKI RESORTS IN THE SUMMERTIME’ well, I wanted to talk a little bit about my outfit. I chose to go all out and wear my bright blue trousers as I love making a statement with a bold colour.

I chose to pair the trousers with my white tiger top I found it in a little high street shop in Bulgaria. The eyes of the tiger match the trousers exactly which I love. I think it’s important to link your clothing pieces together when playing around with statement colours. This can also be done easily with a matching necklace or piece of jewellery.

I brought along my blue bag from Zara and wore a simple pair of black Chanel pumps.

It’s an easy, comfy outfit that also catches people’s eye, perfect spending the day outdoors.

SHORTS AND BOOTS FOR A SUMMER DAY

Shorts and boots for a summer day. A quick outfit of the day for you, as I wanted to share this amazing outfit. It’s perfect for summer weather. The top is an amazing fashion brand called E L L E R Y, the designer is Kym Ellery. If you get a chance check out her amazing collections here.

The shorts are Ksubi an australian brand that has a serious cult following globally, the brand has been seen on every A-list celebrity with attitude, from A$AP Rocky to Kylie Jenner, Ruby Rose and The Internet. Check them out here.

The shoes are are brandless, they were one of those finds where they just catch your eye because they are so different and unique. I think this shows that you don’t have to be dressed completely in designer clothes to make a statement. It’s all about how you mix and match and accessories.

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT WITH KOHZO JEANS

Welcome to my new fashion series, dare to be different. Here I am going to find different and unique pieces from my wardrobe and share them with you. I love being different and unique and if I can inspire you to take that chance then it’s all worth it.

So, let’s get to it, these are my Kohzo jeans. Aren’t they amazing? I found them in a little concept store in Sofia, Bulgaria. Shauket Imam, the designer, takes everyday classics and infuses them with unique artistic details. It’s an expression which seeks to bridge the gaps between art and life. Shauket design’s feature nuances and distinctions which are specially made into one of a kind pieces. Handcrafting and bold design guarantee that no two jeans will ever be the same. EXPLORING FRESH AND DYNAMIC PRINTS

So today I wanted to feel sexy, how to feel more sexy than to wear a Brazilian dress straight from Sao Paulo. It was one of those dresses that I wish I had grabbed a few more of when I was in São Paulo few years ago. It was bought from ” forum” Brazil one of the top Brazilian fashion houses. Street inspired, it gives amazing presence and form when worn. It’s beautiful fresh dynamic prints certainly make heads turn.

I paired it with flashy YSL shoes, not very high end but they give the look a more ‘elegant’ feel!

The handbag is my very nearly vintage “Chloe” bag in green.

Earrings are a pair of handmade Aurelie Bidermann, a french designer whom I love. To finish the look off, I wore my solid jade ring, the Chinese believe it brings good luck and today at home I had beautiful flowers from a loved one, it’s amazing how things work.

Jade is considered a special gemstone, of healing and stability. It relieves anxiety and lightens emotions developed from fear. This stone is one of the many gemstones, which never allow any negative energy or negative influences to affect the individual wearing it.

It does not allow the entry of any external negative vibration. It simply protects people from getting disturbed by negative influences as it continues to emit cleansing and calming aura.

Jade can also establish a closer connection between the different stages of the intellectual part of the body. Hence, it improves the mental capacity of a person. The ancient people from the East have known all the healing properties of Jade for hundreds of years.

It’s said the darker the jade is the better it works.

THE LAST PIECE TO THE PUZZLE

Old is gold … Old is silver.
I felt a bit silverfish today.

I’m sure everyone has had that moment where they find something in a sale and it’s a little bit different, slightly weird and you know you have nothing in your wardrobe to wear it with, but you buy it anyway. I did this exact thing with my Missoni cardigan and now every time I look at it, I just can’t think what it would work with and it’s a real headache, well a first world headache.

So yesterday I’m shopping in Zara and I come across these brown knit flared trousers, I really wasn’t sure about them. In the end, I bought them as I liked that the colour and texture were a little different, and tried them out with my Missoni cardigan. I paired them with my grey suede Manolo shoes and my old Burberry bag. The result turned out really well, see what you think.

Special attention to my jewelry, a silver Rosa Maria ring that I adore (there will definitely be more this in future outfit’s of the day) and chunky looking silver ring.
Earrings are Simple Market One and the Bracelet is an old favorite from Hermes.
Also my very special limited edition U-boat watch, I am crazy about this brand, I feel it represents my adventures spirit.
