So last night I attended a charity gala dinner and silent auction. It was for a charity called START.
START is a non-profit organisation running art workshops for refugees, orphans and children with special needs across the Middle East and India.
Their mission is to heal and educate children who have suffered with war, pain and loss.
The event was absolutely beautiful, it was held in the Armani hotel located in the amazing Burj Khalifa.
I wore a black velvet dress that I have had for around 15 years. So many times I have thought about getting rid of it but I’m so pleased I didn’t as velvet is now all the rage.
Also wearing my amazing, sparkly necklace that I am going to write a post on separately as I want to talk about the boutique I bought it from.
