TODAY IS A HAT DAY

Back to outfits of the day, mix up your look with a Yohji Yamamoto hat.

If you don’t already know, I am obsessed with hats, I think they are the perfect addition to any outfit.

Today’s hat was a Yohji Yamamoto, bright orange, an instant head turner. I always get compliments from strangers when wearing it, which doesn’t happen that often anymore. It’s a real feel goo accessory.

The hat is very soft and light and even in the hot summer, you don’t feel it. You can shape it in different ways which I love.

Sticking with the orange theme, from a few days ago and to be honest I couldn’t be bothered to change my bag, so that had a lot to do with it.

Dress is great, a really easy slip on.

Trainers are Dior.

CASUAL AND COMFY

White top from an American fashion house “Tibi” , which I love and have a few pieces in my wardrobe, super casual and comfy!

The silhouette is contemporary, made from linen and cotton which helps it fall loosely on the body. The asymmetric sleeves can be worn straight or knotted for an alternative slightly edgier look,
I’m wearing mine knotted.

I balanced my look with a pair of Isabel Marant jeans for much more bohemian style.

Earring by Chloe Shoulder length with brass hammered heart charms, a really beautiful piece! To best show them off, I chose to wear my hair in a sleek updo.

It only took me one minute to do my hair and with no products. I am blessed to have hair to style this way, It’s a Long story and I would like to tell you about my hair story another time.

Platform black leather shoes by Balenciaga made me extra tall and they were extremely comfortable.

My bag is a little bit strange and almost 10 years old. I picked it up in Brighton from a local designer.

So, overall an easy quick casual outfit.

SQUEEZING IN THAT LAST DAY OF SHOPPING

Just a quick update, lazy day shopping in Beirut in one of my favourite animal T-shirts. I found one of my favourite shops AISHTY so, obviously had to buy myself something. All in all, a very good day shopping.

In the evening we went to an amazing bar called Pacifico, it was a garden bar so I went with a nice summery outfit.
To finish the night off, there was a firework display, it was beautiful.

SHOPPING AND JAZZ CLUBS

Quick update from Beirut, lunch, shopping and then to a fantastic Jazz club.

Started off the day with a special lunch, one of the best meals ever, Lebanese food is always really good, I love it.
Finished lunch with some Turkish coffee.

After lunch I went out for a little bit of shopping and to buy my host some flowers for being so amazing. It was lovely just walking around Beirut, it’s such a beautiful city.

I took a few photo of my outfit for you all, pretty simple, a white crop top and my Ellery trousers. The perfect outfit for chilling in the city.

As the sunset, we got ready for the evening, decided we would head to a Jazz club which I was really looking forward to. The view out of the window is just stunning, I could sit and look all day. Mafusa also seems to be enjoying the view.

We ended up in a lovely little Jazz bar called the Blue Note Cafe. They host a selection of local and international jazz celebrities and musicians every week.

It was a lovely night and of course to finish it off CosmoPolly was on stage.

BEIRUT HERE I COME

Hello from Beirut, I’m on another CosmoPolly adventure. I have so many lovely memories from Beirut, I’ve been coming here for the past 25 years but my last trip was 2011, so I’ve definitely left it too long. After being invited to visit a friend I packed my bags and was ready to go.

After unpacking I chose to wear my white outfit for the coming night. Before I move on to what we got up to, I just want to share the fabulous wardrobe I was given to use. Amazing, it’s my dream walk-in wardrobe.

Once we were ready, we headed to MusicHall Beirut to grab a few drinks, have a good catch up and watch the show. It was amazing, if you are ever in Beirut I would recommend this.

Overall a lovely first evening in Beirut,

STUNNING, TRENDY LOOK FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2016

Today’s outfit is an absolutely, stunning, trendy look for Spring summer 2016.
I couldn’t resist these 2 pieces, they sold out like hot cakes. I was shocked to see Italian fashion company ‘Tods’ release such an irresistible outfit. Famous for their quality and luxury design, specialising in shoes and bags I was surprised to come across these trendy killer pieces.

I absolutely love the look of the off the shoulder top, and of course, with them being experts in leather the embroidery on the top is so perfect.

The pants are super comfortable, cotton poplin with flattering stripes, perfect for the summer finished with a small leather pocket on one side.

I paired the outfit with Acne shoes for a sporty look and Chanel bag for elegance.

One gold ring was enough for this outfit, finishing the look off with Blue Thom Browne sunglasses.

Super trendy for the season.

I am also crazy about my eyebrows and I think they are the most important feature on the face. How I got there and grew them to this bushy 3D look, well that’s another story which I will talk about in my life tips sections.

ORANGE IS THE COLOUR OF THE DAY

So fire orange was definitely the colour of the day with my Rick Owens shoes.

So, the top and jeans are from Bulgaria. The jeans Kohzo are really amazing, all of their clothes are one off pieces, I feel extra special wearing them. If you want to know more about these jeans you can check out my dare to be different post as I featured them previously there.

The shoes are my beautiful Rick Owen boots. I love them they are such an amazing colour.

Fabulous Proenza Schouler bag from New York just completed the look, after all, she is a hero when it comes to bag design.

I think orange is definitely one of my favorite hot colors.
